A little information on Mervin, the world's most environMENTAL snowboard factory:
Mervin has been building snowboards every day for over 25 years. Lib-Tech operate a biodiesel co-op and their factory is heated with biodiesel. Scrap materials are recycled when possible: scrap wood, sawdust, and plastic base materials. Mervin uses a sublimation process for graphics, eliminating toxic lacquer gloss typically used for snowboard topsheets. Mervin uses a plastic top material called BEANS made from the oil of castor bean plants. The Mervin factory is based in the USA and has a healthy work environment of seasoned snowboarders, surfers, and skateboarders.
